UCA_testing

I have created a new category for demo/testing by Richard.

He should be able to create new posts (as well as comment on existing posts) to learn his way around the WordPress environment.

Ahhh, I see now. I created a new user, gave the same permissions.
Logged in now as wb5rmg, I see that I can create a new posting…
(I would have been able to make this comment as a subscriber)
OK, makes sense so far. /;^)

Quick review of the capabilities matrix reveals complexity :
    # Administrator - Somebody who has access to all the administration features
    # Editor - Somebody who can publish posts, manage posts as well as manage other people’s posts, etc.
    # Author - Somebody who can publish and manage their own posts
    # Contributor - Somebody who can write and manage their posts but not publish posts
    # Subscriber - Somebody who can read comments/comment/receive news letters, etc.

More thorough discussion can be found via the “Codex” :
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
(the codex is the living documentation tree [built with wordpress-BTW] )
