Before leaving the summer/beach theme, I’ll share one more favorite.

I’m always amazed at how powerful is nature to produce such dramatic visions of simple ‘ordinary’ events - like a typical sunrise at the beach. No amount of pixel-twisting, palette-wrenching, post-production finesse could rival the natural beauty of a shot like this. I rarely even adjust brightness or contrast as I like the vision to speak for itself. The excitement is in finding a shot like this, that is actually more powerful than it was when standing there taking the picture.
