N4OFA visits Rocket City

Our good friend Mike made the journey to Alabama for the weekend.

Traveling all the way from Kingsport TN, Mikey drove over Thursday arriving in time for the RACES/ARES group’s annual picnic on Monte Sano. I took a vacation day to show Mike around town a bit, including the HOSC @ MSFC and the US Space and Rocket Center. We spent most of the day Saturday at the Huntsville Hamfest, and ran into several illustrious ham-radio buddies who were also in attendance. A very enjoyable weekend Mike, thanks for coming to see us ..!..
