Whatever THAT meant, I have no clue.

Thanksgiving

In the soon-coming days, our nation will be celebrating a holiday known as “Thanksgiving.”
It is a distinctively Christian holiday, having its origins with the Pilgrims whom came to this land seeking religious asylum and freedom.
Not only is the giving or expression of thanks and gratitude to one another a truly not-of-this-Earth practice

I remember so clearly Minnie telling me to go downstairs and look in her cedar chest and get her towels that she had been saving. I was her caregiver now that she was bedfast, and I could not seem to keep up with all the washing of bedclothes and towels.

I love the fall. Even with the day off, I was up about 4:30 - checking the temperature and cloud cover outside… Long about 6am the sun was trying to wedge it’s glowing fingers inbetween the clouds, sparking the gold and red highlights in the tree-tops.

While reading again in the Genesis, I was impressed with several findings.
Consider that in chapter four, beginning with verse one, it reads in part (the New King James version), “Now Adam knew Eve, and she conceived and bore Cain.”
